We should all have been driving electric cars by now. Go rent "Who Killed the Electric Car". GM decided to back the Hummer instead and scraped the EC, I guess someone in their corporate offices must be related to the Saudi Royal Family.

Gasoline road tax.
Till they find a way to collect it. So, they'll (don't ask who "they" are), either by some sort of gps snitching device, or a built in meter that transmits your electric consumption to the Dept of Transportation. Or maybe just tax everyone for some level of transportion, tax deductable on your 1040 if you can prove you are not using electric transportation.
