How do we know that Christians are Delusional?

it's true that jw's are pretty obsessed with membership stats, but that's why i think the stats can't be trusted.

mormons have a lot in common with jw's in this and other regards, but more is known about how they inflate their numbers- by putting everyone on the list who is baptised, (baptism=membership,) by "forgetting" to take people off the lists when excommunicated, and above all, denying when old members have left, even if they've converted to a non-christian religion. i'm not insisting jw's do this too- but it's hard not to imagine.

I have seen this video before, and have seen and read a lot of the other material produced by this person, but I find that he attacks the most fundamental parts of Christianity, and mistranslates much of Christian belief (he attacks Jesus' request for people to eat his flesh and drink his blood, which obviously refers to communion, and is metaphorical). Although he speaks calmly, he is rather provcative (he once said "God is a homocidal maniac").

Not a good person to learn from.

On the contrary, the numbers represent only those who have reported time in the ministry, not baptismal numbers or meeting attendance. If one does not report time in the ministry, (and I do not report my internet musings as 'time'), one is not counted as a JW for that month.

As a contrast, in order to be removed from the rolls of the Roman church, I had to write a letter to St. Matthew's parish asking for my name to be removed. So how many RC's are there? Who knows?

Worldwide Rastafarianism membership is reported to be around 1,000,000.
Source: http://religiousmovements.lib.virginia.edu/nrms/rast.html

There are currently about 6,000,000 Jehovah's Witnesses reporting each month.

Only one avian giraffe, so far as I can discern.
