Apparently, a political appointee, Julie A. MacDonald, was using unjust influence in taking several animals off the endangered species list. Environmentalists want all of her decisions reviewed as well.

I remember that she wanted the bog turtle removed from the list under urgings of the Home Builders Association.
Less than a year for this admin and maybe we can undo some of the damage . The next president will have to wear a janitors outfit for a couple of years until he/she cleans up all the messes.
