It is early Saturday morning with a beautiful warm day forecast, 33 degrees or 80 or so in your language. Will be outside watering my plants by hand as we're still on severe water restrictions and cannot use sprinklers or a hand held hose!

At the moment we're eating, endive, carrots, brocolli, spinach and red beet. A dozen red cabbages are next. Have just planted two long rows of dwarf beans which will last us through summer. Also 4 plots of rock and water melons, and two tomato plants are in. We have severe water restrictions and are only allowed to handwater any plants with a spray can, very time consuming.

Your garden sounds wonderful. You and your better half are eating healthy. My wife enjoys endive, and red cabbage. She puts a hot bacon grease/white vinegar dressing on her endive. I won 't eat it.
Can you use the leftover water from your washing machine to water the garden?
